Your voice is the most powerful tool for change!

Artist Venue Trust seeks out meaningful relationships with musicians who have honed their craft over the years, with live performance being central to their careers. The influential voices of those artists who led the way for others, is paramount to our ability to articulate the importance of saving live grassroots venues in Canada.

If you are a solo artist or band member who has been working in the Canadian music industry, we want to hear from you. Imagine an industry without dive bars, pubs, clubs, theatres, and concert venues for emerging artists to book gigs at. That's what we're working hard to protect. Smaller grassroots venues have been a cornerstone of artist development for as long as live shows have existed. But they are in trouble with increasing rents, a decrease in consumer disposable income, and with many venues not recovering after the pandemic.

We would love to work with you if you care about preserving and protecting grassroots music venues across Canada. We'd love to hear your "why it matters" and any personal experiences you may wish to share about the role that grassroots venues played in your development as an artist.
